          Haile Menkerios (Tigrinya: ሃይለ መንቀሪዮስ, born October 1, 1946) is an Eritrean diplomat who served as the Head of the United Nations Office to the African Union (UNOAU) and as Special Representative to the African Union, at the level of Under-Secretary-General from 2013 until 2018.

          Studying in the United States, Menkerios earned a bachelor's degree from Brandeis University and a master's degree from Harvard University.
