| Orlin Anastasov was born in 1976 in Rousse (Bulgaria).
His parents Maria Venzislavova and Anastas Anastasov, were leading opera singers in the Rousse theatre. Orlin Anastasov began his opera singing studies early with Maestro Georgi Deliganev.
He made his operatic debut at 20 in Aida. Biography. In April 1999, in Puerto Rico, he won the big competition Operalia – Plasido Domingo; in June of the same year he made his debut at the Milan La Scala as Basilio in Il Barbiere di Siviglia under the baton of Riccardo Chilly.
In July 2000 he continued his debuts at Arena di Verona in Aida, at Covent Garden in London in La Battaglia di Legnano and at Staatsoper of Wien as Ramphis in Aida.
