          Henrikh Mkhitaryan, a versatile Armenian professional footballer, is widely recognized for his tenure at Serie A club Roma. He began his professional career in 2006 with Pyunik Yerevan and made his international debut for Armenia in 2007.

          From 2016 to 2018, he played for Manchester United before joining Arsenal. Prior to that, he played youth soccer for Pyunik Yerevan from 1995 to 2006. In 2013, he signed with Borussia Dortmund and became captain of Armenia's national team that same year.

          He was honored as the CIS Footballer of the Year in both 2012 and 2013.
