          Biography of Henry Cavill

          Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill was born on May 5, 1983, in St.

          Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands. He is the fourth son of Colin Cavill, a stockbroker, and Marianne Cavill, a bank secretary. Henry attended St. Michael's Preparatory School in St. Saviour, Jersey, and later Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, where he graduated with a diploma in secondary education.

          During his time at Stowe, Henry discovered his passion for acting and began participating in school plays.

          His first role was in the 2001 thriller "Laguna," where he played the character of Thomas, a young man who moves to Venice after the death of his parents.
